Global social protection policies
Over the last 30 years, companies turning global have created small global HR team focused on top talents, employer branding, and the functional management of the HR function. Effective labor conditions have thus increasingly became a local issue far away from global headquarters preoccupations. Recently, and despite all the talk about the Uberisation of work, some major Multi National Enterprises (MNEs) have started to adopt and enforce global minimum social protection guarantees (global minima on Reproduction in any form is prohibited without express authorization of Entreprise&Personnel 3 death, invalidity, maternity and sickness benefits). This signals a strong evolution.
